Funkční zácpa u dětí

Autoři předkládají současné názory na diagnostiku a léčbu funkční zácpy u dětí v ordinaci praktického dětského lékaře. U naprosté většiny dětí je funkční zácpa způsobena bolestivou defekací s následným vědomým zadržováním stolice. Mezi funkční poruchy defekace řadíme funkční zácpu, funkční retenci stolice, funkční neretenční špinění a kojeneckou dyschézii. V patogenezi funkční zácpy hraje významnou roli bolest a strach z bolestivé defekace.

U většiny dětí je praktický dětský lékař schopen rozlišit na základě pečlivého rozboru anamnézy a fyzikálního vyšetření, zda se jedná o funkční zácpu nebo zda dítě vyžaduje další vyšetření.

Terapie funkční zácpy zahrnuje: poučení dítěte a rodiny, odstranění inspizované stolice, dietní a režimová opatření a farmakoterapii. Je velice pravděpodobné, že praktický dětský lékař bude úspěšný v léčbě dětí s funkční zácpou, což jistě zvýší jeho prestiž u dítěte i rodiny.
