Změny v metabolismu lipidů u dětí léčených pro epilepsii carbamazepinem

Jednou z klinických situací, která je provázena sekundární dyslipidémií je léčba antiepileptiky, zejména preparáty obsahujícími phenytoin, phenobarbital a carbamazepin.

Záměrem práce je analýza lipidemie v průběhu léčby epilepsie u dětí preparáty obsahujícími carbamazepin (CBZ). Do studie bylo zařazeno 34 dětí, které byly léčeny carbamazepinem v průměrné denní dávce 13,4 mg/kg a měly negativní rodinnou anamnézu z hlediska rizik rozvoje aterosklerózy.

Naše výsledky dokladují, že CBZ - lék ovlivňující mikrozomální enzymy v játrech - způsobuje změny ve spektru lipidů. Chronická terapie CBZ by tedy mohla být rizikovým faktorem pro rozvoj aterosklerózy. U takto léčených dětí by měl být lipidogram pravidelně sledován.
