Cystický hygrom krku u novorozence

Správná diagnostika měkkého zduření krku je obzvlášť v novorozeneckém období naléhavá. Zvětšující se útvar v oblasti krku se může chovat lokálně agresivně a stává se tak častou příčinou vážných komplikací. Krční lymfadenopatie je v novorozeneckém období vzácná. Z vrozených vad se na krku nejčastěji vyskytují mediální a laterální krční cysty. Často na krku nalezneme povrchové i hluboké hemagiomy. Z benigních neoplastických procesů jsou zde nejčastěji lokalizovány krční teratom a krční fibromatóza, která vykazuje často značnou proliferační aktivitu, a proto je označována i jako -benigní- malignita. Cystický hygrom (cystický lymfangiom krku) je tvořený četnými lymfatickými prostory a cystami a v 65 % je identifikován již při narození.
