Cetirizin (Zyrtec) se významnou měrou uplatňuje v prevenci vzniku bronchiálního astmatu u každého druhého dítěte s atopickou dermatitidou, pozitivní rodinnou anamnézou ve smyslu atopie (rodiče, sourozenci), senzibilizovaných na pyl travin nebo roztočů.

Cetirizin (Zyrtec) is of important use and involves the prevention of asthma bronchiale arising at every child with atopic dermatitis, with positive family history in the sense of atopy (parents, siblings) sensitized to grass pollen or mites.
