Postižení funkce jater v dětském věku má podobné důsledky jako u dospělých jedinců; rovněž základní laboratorní testy jsou shodné. Existují však rozdíly ve výskytu některých syndromů, v jejich klinických i laboratorních projevech stejně jako v průběhu, zejména v časném období života. Je to dáno postupným rozvojem řady metabolických funkcí, ve kterých mají játra klíčovou úlohu. V článku je referováno o základních, doplňkových a speciálních testech pro vyšetření funkce jater a o jejich významu pro diagnostiku.

Liver function examination in paediatrics (Part 1)

Liver function disorder in a childhood has similar consequences as in adults, also basic laboratory tests are the same. But, there are differences in the incidence of some syndromes, their clinical and laboratory manifestations and during the course too, especially in early life period. It is based on gradual development of many metabolic functions, where the liver plays a key role. Article refers of basic, additional and special tests for hepatic function assessment and their importance for diagnostic.
