V diferenciální diagnostice jaterních onemocnění jde především o to rozlišit virovou hepatitidu od cholestatického syndromu, toxického poškození jater, akutní (i chronické) hypoxie postihující játra; důležité je rozpoznání různých forem chronických hepatitid nebo primárních nádorů jater od jaterních metastáz. Cholestatický syndrom u dětí má svoje zvláštnosti. Na závěr je uveden algoritmus diferenciální diagnostiky nejčastějších hepatopatií.

Evaluation of Liver Function in Pediatrics (Part Four)

In differential diagnosis of liver diseases there is crucial to distinguish viral hepatitis from cholestatic syndrome, toxic liver damage, acute and chronic liver hypoxia, as well as to differentiate between various forms of chronic hepatitis, primary liver tumors and metastatic liver damage. Cholestatic syndrome in children is characterized by specific features. The paper concludes presenting the algorithm of differential diagnosis of the most common hepatopathies.
