Práce se zabývá složitým psychologickým pozadím problematiky poruch příjmu potravy. Přibližuje kognitivně behaviorální psychoterapii, která se orientuje na poruchu vnímání tělesného zjevu (deviaci body image). Je doplněna kazuistikou. Zdůrazňuje některé psychologické aspekty nemoci, které vymezují možnosti pediatrické intervence u poruch příjmu potravy.

Eating disorders - opportunities and limits of pediatric interventions

This article deals with complicated psychological background of eating disrders. It explains cognitive behaviour therapy of disturbance of body image. The case report is included. The purpose of this article is to accent some psychological aspects of eating disorders and to discuss the opportunities and limits of pediatric interventions.
