Toxoplasmosis in childhood

Toxoplasma gondii occurs throughout the world and is one of the most common parasitic infections of humans. When primary infection recurs during pregnancy, T. gondii may be transmitted from the mother of the fetus. This study report of congenital toxoplasmosis, about the effectiveness of prenatal and postnatal treatment. Although perinatal intervention can reduce the risk of vertical transmission, there are still many infected children who need continuing treatment.
