Teofylin, betamimetika, antihistaminika

Další část cyklu je věnována lékům, které jsou v pediatrii hojně používané, i když procházejí fázemi preskripce různé intenzity. Teofylin a jeho deriváty mohou být příčinou velmi vážných intoxikací, podobně jako některá antihistaminika II. generace. Naproti tomu selektivní beta-2 mimetika po počátečních obavách se ukázala jako velmi bezpečná farmaka a i příznaky z předávkování jsou mírné a zpravidla spontánně odeznívající.
