Péče o rizikového novorozence s ortopedickou problematikou

Neonatologie je multidisciplinární obor, a pro­to se na péči o novorozence podílí také celá řada specialistů jiných odborností. Jednou z nich je i ortopedie. Jen zřídkakdy je ortopedický problém příčinou hospitalizace novorozence na jednotce intenzivní péče. Ortopedická diagnóza je často stanovena v souvislosti s vrozenou vývojovou vadou dítěte nebo v rámci celkového onemocnění. Jedná se tedy větąinou o pacienty polymorbidní, s řadou různých zdravotních potíľí, z nichľ některé vedou k hospitalizaci na JIP; nezřídka tyto potíľe mohou být limitu­jící z hlediska náročnějąí ortopedické léčby.
