SOUČASNÝ NÁLEZ ROZŠÍŘENÉHO MEDIASTINA A BRONCHOPNEUMONIE JAKO DIAGNOSTICKÉ DILEMA

Autoři popisují průběh horečnatého onemocnění u sedmnáctileté pacientky s postupným rozvojem oboustranné bronchopneumonie a rozšíření horního mediastina. Přetrvávající horečnatý stav a nárůst infiltrativních změn v plicním parenchymu během šestidenní léčby širokospektrálním antibiotikem vedly k podezření na tumor mediastina nebo TBC proces. Sérologickým vyšetřením byla jako etiologický agens určena Mycoplasma pneumoniae. Léčba makrolidy vedla k rychlé úpravě klinického i rentgenového nálezu.
