Urgentní dovednosti v dětském lékařství

Článek charakterizuje nejčastější závažné neodkladné stavy v dětském lékařství – dušení, oběhový šok a křeče s bezvědomím, a předkládá vyzkoušené léčebné postupy vhodné v přednemocniční lékařské první pomoci. V části týkající se dušení je především probrána akutní obturace dýchacích cest způsobená zánětem, alergickým edémem nebo cizím tělesem a její řešení urgentním vstupem do dýchacích cest. Dále jsou rozebrány jednotlivé kroky určené k léčbě oběhového šoku – vstup do žilního systému, objemová terapie, analgezie a sedace dětského pacienta. V části o bezvědomí a křečích je kladen důraz na sledování a případně podporu vitálních funkcí, zajištění anamnestických údajů, rozdělení křečových stavů a na jejich léčbu.
