What is new in pediatric diabetology?

Research in pediatric diabetology brings some news useful in clinical practice. That includes wilder use of insulin analogues, flexible

insulin dosing system according to the needs of pediatric patients, the possibility of continuous glucose monitoring connected to the

insulin pump and changing in some dietary recommendations. This article summarizes the current realistic treatment options for pediatric

patients with diabetes in the Czech Republic.
