Speech and language impairments - practical view in general pediatricians

Speech or language impairments affect the communication process and total psychomotorical and social development of the child.

The therapy is always long-term, complex and multidisciplinar. The role of the pediatrician is in screening, diagnostics and therapy in

co-ordination with the other specialists.
