Význam synbiotik při prevenci alergií

Vývoji a změnám střevní mikrobioty v souvislosti s rozvojem alergií u dětí se ve své přednášce na VI. kongresu pediatrie pro praxi na přelomu května a června 2019 věnoval Dr. El‑Lababidi. Připomněl význam plného kojení v prvních 4 měsících života v prevenci alergií a ukázal, že u dětí, kde je nutná umělá mléčná výživa, je přínosem podávání parciálních hydrolyzátů, jejichž ochranný efekt před rozvojem alergií potencují synbiotika. Podle posledních poznatků by synbiotika mohla také zmírňovat projevy již vytvořené alergie na bílkovinu kravského mléka nebo atopického ekzému.
