Otravy v dětském věku

Podáváme přehled iniciálních kroků a obecných opatření u otrav v dětském věku. Identifikace potenciální intoxikující látky, zjištění časového intervalu od požití látky a jejího množství tvoří základní kroky péče. Následná rozvaha musí být opřena o validní informace o toxické látce včetně farmakokinetických dat. Výplach žaludku nepatří mezi paušální opatření, jeho efektivita stejně jako aplikace aktivního uhlí po 60 minutách od požití významně klesá. V současné době je základním opatřením podpůrná léčba, monitorace základních funkcí a vnitřního prostředí. Indikace k invazivním eliminačním metodám by měla být obezřetná.
