Epileptický záchvat jako první projev kavernomu mozku

Kavernomy mozku v dětském věku jsou stále diagnosticky i terapeuticky náročné léze. Jejich nejčastějším prvním klinickým projevem je epileptický záchvat (79 %) a/nebo krvácení do mozku (16 %). V éře magnetické rezonance představují kavernomy mnohem častěji diagnostikovanou cévní malformaci. MRI se dnes používá ke klasifikaci, ale i k určení léčebné strategie. Autoři předkládají kazuistiku 13letého pacienta s kavernomem mozku, který se klinicky prezentoval generalizovaným epileptickým záchvatem.
