Parenterální aplikace adrenalinu má svoje místo v léčbě těžké anafylaktické reakce a při kardiopulmonální resuscitaci. V řadě učebnic i v článcích zveřejněných v nedávných letech v Pediatrii pro praxi je uváděno, že vedle subkutánní a intramuskulární cesty je možné v urgentních případech využít také intravenózního podání i opakovaných dávek. V pediatrických doporučeních se opakovaně objevuje nutnost ředění základního roztoku adrenalinu pro tuto aplikaci 1 : 10 při základním dávkování 0,01 mg/kg/dávku...
