Hygiena nosu u kojenců

Nos je fyziologickou vstupní branou dýchacích cest. Dochází zde k proudění vzduchu, ohřívání, zvlhčování a filtraci. Novorozenec nemůže dýchat ústy, je to dáno anatomií, v období 3–5 měsíců dýchá kojenec ústy i nosem. Malé rozměry nosních dutin a nezralý imunitní systém jsou důvodem častějších rinitid novorozenců a kojenců. Pravidelnou hygienou vhodnými prostředky lze podpořit přirozenou funkci nosní sliznice. Na českém farmaceutickém trhu jsou k dispozici 4 přípravky vhodné k prevenci i léčbě rinitid u kojenců. Uvádíme jejich přehled.
