Kašlající dítě v primární péči

Kašel je jedním z nejčastějších důvodů návštěvy lékaře v primární péči. Je to příznak, který obtěžuje nejen dítě, ale i celou rodinu.

Skupina lékařů při České pediatrické společnosti vytvořila doporučený postup, jak přistupovat ke kašlajícímu dítěti v primární péči. Doporučila postupné vyšetřování podle klinického nálezu a pravděpodobnosti vyvolávající příčiny kašle. Vhodná je kombinace specifických vyšetřovacích postupů a využití léčebného pokusu. Úkolem lékaře je nepodcenit „běžný kašel“ ani nevyšetřovat zbytečně.
