Respiratory support in neonates

The article focuses on the neonatal respiratory support. The first part applies to respiratory support definition, its aims, types and complications. It also describes guidelines of a nursing care for ventilated neonate. The results of our research, which was focused on neonates, requiring an invasive respiratory support, its indications and complications, are presented in the second part. The results of our research were compared to the most recent and relevant literature.
