It is difficult to recognize masturbation manifestations in infants. There is no direct manipulation with genitals. Typical manifestations are crossed lower limbs, rhythmic movements in the pelvis, redness, sweating and specific sounds. This often frightens parents and doctors, and often a child is hospitalized with suspected epileptic seizures, paroxysmal dyskinesia or abdominal pain. Based on these diagnoses, the child is invasively examined. In the best case, the child is released with diagnosis of infant stereotypies with self-stimulating tendencies (infantile masturbation. But what if the stereotype is so fierce that the infant spends most of the day doing a crossing?
